Transformation forms the central point of departure in the work of Karina Wisniewska. Her artistic practice is shaped by continuous development, exploration, and redefinition. Following an internationally successful career as a concert pianist, she has devoted herself fully to visual art since 2000, with musical thinking, philosophical reflection, and interdisciplinary experience continuing to inform her practice.
Her painting moves from structural order toward organic, fluid visual fields in which resonance, perception, and inner experience come to the fore. Colour appears not as surface, but as a vibrational presence that establishes an immediate relationship between artwork and viewer.
Within the dynamic interplay of sound, colour, and perception, Wisniewska develops a distinctive position within contemporary abstract painting. Transformation remains the fundamental principle of her artistic thinking and practice.
